Last night, Cedar City residents and SUU students gathered at Main Street Park for the second annual Suicide Prevention Walk. The event started at the park at 6 p.m., where the first 100 people to show up received free "Hope" t-shirts.
After this, the walkers marched to SUU campus, walking along Main Street and University Boulevard holding signs to spread their message. Once on campus, they gathered in the Living Room of the Sharwan Smith Student Center to talk about suicide prevention resources and to get to know each other.
