Two SUU artists, both named Trevor, sat down with Thunderground to talk about their experiences. Full profiles will appear in the October edition of Revolt, which will be out on October 6.
Where do you get your musical inspiration from?
“In terms of musicality and lyrical execution, I get a lot from the progressive metal scene; I like the way they write music and string everything together. As far as the messages are concerned, I want to help people. I feel a lot of people have that pent-up negativity and I want to be able to provide a healthy way to be able to release that. I want people to discover who they are, to accept who they are and to be happy with who they are and be confident in themselves. I’m hoping that my album can help people do that.
What interests do you have outside of music?
“I love sports, that’s never gone away. I love being active, and I love anything involving competition!”
What are your hobbies?
“I really like anything outdoors. I work at SUU outdoors and we go on lots of adventures together. Hiking, backpacking, canyoneering, snowboarding — I do a little bit of all those things. I’m not super great at any one, but I really like a lot of them.”
